Sustainable Design for the 21st Century

By D. Brent Sauser, Architect

After months of anticipation and planning GreenBuild 2012 is here.  This year the USGBC convention is at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.  Today was the first big day with opening remarks from celebrities, as well as continuing education classes and the opening of the exhibition halls.  Three huge halls are filled with the latest in Green Building technology and Net Zero products.  I had the opportunity to tour the West Exhibit Hall and North Exhibit Hall today and will visit the South Exhibit Hall tomorrow.  These exhibit halls are, to say the least . . . cavernous.  By the time I left my feet were pretty sore.  Then, I had to return using the BART transit system all the way to the final stop at Fremont . . . STANDING UP.  I’ll need to rest up for tomorrow’s return trip.

I have attached to this report a couple You Tube videos and photos to give you a little sample of the goings on at GreenBuild 2012.  More videos, photos, and reports to follow.

When I originally commented I appear to have clicked on the
-Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on each time a comment is added I get 4
emails with the same comment. Is there a means you are able to remove me from that service?

At this time it appears like Drupal is the top blogging platform
out there right now. (from what I’ve read) Is that what you’re using on your blog?
