Every month when I open my electric bill the thought crosses my mind that there must be a better way to live and not be held hostage to climbing utility costs. There must be a way to design more environmentally sensitive buildings that don’t depend as much on non-renewable resources to function. You would think by now technology would have advanced enough to offer the designer, developer, and owner a variety of options that enable a building to be independent of off-site sources for support.
NetZeroMax.com was created to demonstrate that the technology is here for Net Zero design. The ability to come full circle and construct a building that does not deplete non-renewable resouces has arrived. NetZeroMax.com will provide links to leading edge products, materials, and systems that, when implemented, will reduce the non-renewable, off-site demand for support utilities. We will feature case studies of Net Zero projects that will encourge you with your design challenges.
It is the goal of NetZeroMax.com to be a useful resource in your design research. We invite your comments and input as you review the content of this website. Together, we can raise the bar in Green Building and Sustainable design to the NetZeroMax.
